Who we are

Jennifer Saunders

Jennifer, a daughter of an Air Force fighter pilot, spent 12 years living outside the United States, fostering her love for international cuisine and travel from a young age.  The military lifestyle also necessitated a need for organization and resourcefulness.  Growing up in a family where her mother and grandmother were avid entertainers, she developed a passion for planning and hosting events early on.  With a professional education in interior design, Jennifer seamlessly combines her skills to excel in event planning.  For the past 14 years, she has called Middleburg’s Hunt Country home, surrounding herself in the equestrian community.  She finds great joy in orchestrating life’s most cherished events for her clients. When not immersed in event planning, Jennifer enjoys her passions for travel, skiing, outdoor fitness, spending time with dogs, and crafting inventive, healthy meals for her loved ones.

Catherine Allen

Catherine brings over 18 years of expertise in the hospitality industry to Hunt Country Events, having honed her skills at renowned establishments such as Marriott International, Hilton Hotels and Concord Hospitality, ascending to the role of General Manager and Human Resources Manager for the Canadian properties. Originally hailing from Montreal and then Toronto, Catherine now proudly calls northern Virginia home. Her seamless transition to Hunt Country Events stem from her innate passion for planning and penchant for exquisite details, ensuring each event delivers a bespoke “boutique” experience for both private and corporate clients. Catherine cherishes moments with her family - her husband, a college-age daughter, and their faithful German Shepherd, Max. She finds enjoyment in Barre workouts, leisurely walks with Max, and unleashing her culinary creativity in the kitchen.
